Hi. We would like to tell you a little about us. Our names are Vell Sweeney and Scott Delaney and together we raise and love Ragdoll cats. We chose the name Royal Ragsters for our cattery combining our love for racing with our love for these floppy cats. We try and name all of our cats around racing theme.

Along with our son Corwin, we share our home with our wonderful Ragdolls and our Miniature Schnauzer, Alexander. The reason we started looking into a family cat is our son is a special needs child. We wanted a pet for him that would help draw him out more and aid in his therapy. We started doing some research and came across the Ragdoll breed. After much research we decided that breeding was something that we would love to try and we set about to find our first Ragdoll. We met a breeder right in Alabama and went to see her kittens unfortunately there was not a kitten who would fit into our breeding program so we continued our search. We chose our Ragdolls based on not only their looks, but also the health of their bloodlines and the honesty and kindness of their breeders. Our Ragdolls hail from Georgia, Florida, Rhode Island and Maine.

Our Ragdolls are first and foremost our pets and live with us as part of our family. They spend their days helping our son play with his toys and keeping the dog in place as well as helping Vell with her day to day household activities. Our kittens are raised underfoot and sleep in our beds. We share our entire house with our cats and kittens so that they will be social and loving pets to their new owners once they leave us. Once Scott gets home it is time for their nightly exercise routine with the laser light and they never let us forget it. Several of our cats will follow us around the house in hopes of finding an available lap to lay on and be petted. At night we can have up to 4 cats laying in our beds with us and guarding us while we sleep.

We try and raise only one or two litters at a time so that we can give each mom and new family our undivided attention. This insures we are providing you with a happy, healthy and well-socialized kitten. Because we are a small Ragdoll cattery we only have a few litters a year and may not always have kittens available.
